How to select a tyre
1. Tyre size and maximum speed of the vehicle.
2. The maximum load capacity per axle (Load index)
3. Your style driving and road condition.
Tires beads and rim flanges should be treated with a recommended lubricant inside and out. Beads should be lubricated both during mounting and dismounting (in case you wish to remount the tire and also to protect the wheel from damage).
Tyre pressure
Any tires¡¯ life and performance is drastically reduced by under or overinflation. Tires can loose 1 psi per month under normal conditions and 1 psi for every 10 degree (Farenheit) temperature drop. Low tire pressure also increases heat in the tire and results in tire damage.
Tires retailers and vehicle service personnel have repeatedly advised about the danger of mismatching 16¡¯¡¯ and 16.5¡¯¡¯ tires and rims. The tire industry has issued various publications and warnings about mismatched rims in the past. This danger is not the result of a tire design or construction deficiency. All tires are designed and constructed with fully adequate strengh to handle mounting/demounting stresses when mounted on their correct matching diameter rims.
